This toning mist harnesses the power of farm grown calendula which is rejuvenating in nature. Additionally, calendula is an antioxidant rich natural antiseptic. Calendula improves skin firmness and is reported to help keep the skin hydrated. It is soothing and an anti-inflammatory.
Organic witch hazel works to tighten pores, protect collagen, and kill acne causing bacteria. It contains protective polyphenols and tannin antioxidants that fight against the damage caused by UV light. It works to minimize scars, redness, puffiness, and discoloration of the skin. Such an incredible ingredient! With that said, not all witch hazels are created equal. Our certified organic witch hazel has been double distilled. This process produces a higher quality product that lacks the alcohol sting and scent that is often associated with witch hazel.”
Aloe is a natural humectant which means it draws moisture to the skin from the air, making the skin softer and more supple. Aloe is loaded with vitamins a and c. Antioxidants found in aloe vera help to protect our skin from all of the environmental stressors we encounter on a daily basis. Our pure aloe is cold pressed from the inner leaves of the aloe vera plant.
Finally, a touch of pure spearmint essential oil is added for a refreshing cooling effect. Spearmint oil is also said to cleanse the pores and help tighten the skin. I think it is the perfect “little something extra” that brings all of these wonderful ingredients together.
